Common Ground Making the Renovation Wave a Cultural Project Curated by the New European Bauhaus Collective (NEBC)
Curated by the New European Bauhaus Collective (NEBC)
Thursday 29 April
10:00 – 16:00 CEST
The New European Bauhaus Collective (NEBC) invites you to participate in its online conference “Common Ground: Making the Renovation Wave a Cultural Project”.
In her State of the Union speech, the President of the European Commission, Ms U. von der Leyen, stated that the Renovation Wave strategy “needs to be a cultural project for Europe” and announced the launch of an innovative and promising initiative – the New European Bauhaus.
With this initiative, the NEB Collective considers that the European Commission complements the economic, social and environmental measures of the Renovation Wave strategy with an essential cultural dimension. By making the Renovation Wave a cultural project, the Commission initiates a fundamental shift, which can be a game-changer in the transition to a more sustainable economy and society.
In the spirit of the New European Bauhaus, the NEBC conference will be designed as a participatory and multidisciplinary event, enabling people from various backgrounds to meet and exchange ideas on challenges raised by the New European Bauhaus. It will be an opportunity to take stock on the development of the NEB initiative, but also to contribute to its co-design phase and reflect on emerging trends.
Join the conversation and let’s shape the New European Bauhaus together!
The event will bring together professionals and workers from the creative and cultural sectors; educators and researchers; representatives from cities and the European institutions, and NEB enthusiastic citizens.
Check the detailed programme here.
Free attendance.
EAAE members welcome to attend!
