Survey SDGs in Architecture
SDGs in Architecture: Teaching, Research, University Policies, Organization, Campus Life and Spaces.
The “EAAE Oslo Pledge for Climate Crisis and Sustainable Future” (EAAE Dean’s Summit 2021, “Change the game – take responsibility – nurture sustainability – change the world.” – Oslo, April 22nd 23rd), implicitly connects to the contents of the UN SDGs.
As a consequence of the EAAE Deans’ Summits 2021 and 2022, the EAAE promoted a discussion dedicated explicitly to the SDGs as a transversal and active topic for the field of architecture in architectural research and education through four Workshops (SDGs Series – November 2021 – ongoing).
In this context, EAAE opens an inquiry to its members, through a questionnaire, on the actions that universities are taking regarding the SDGs in teaching, research, their institutional policies, organization, campus life and spaces, and including a review of samples and best practices in the domain of architectural education and research.
This systematic survey, together with the synthesis of the topics covered in the four workshops, has been presented during the General Assembly in Madrid (31.08.- 03.09.2022)
The School Members are invited to answer the 2 questionnaires below by October 11, 2023:
SDGs in Architecture (Form 1) – Teaching, Research, University Policies, Organization, Campus Life and Spaces
SDGs in Architecture (form 2) – A review of best practices in the domain of architectural education and research
