Retrospective
The Awards Ceremony of the Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) was celebrated on 28 September 2021 with a hybrid format at Palazzo Michiel in Venice. The award that brings together the best graduation projects from European architecture, urban planning and landscape schools was enriched in this third edition with a parallel Award in Asia. The award is organised by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe with the support of Creative Europe, in partnership with the EAAE and the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE-CAE).
Oya Atalay Franck, President of the EAAE, moderated the first panel:
“The Young Talent Architecture Award is an amazing project. It’s a step in certain biographies but is also about manifesting the quality that matters to us all and matters to everybody who inhabits this planet. We really have to put our best together to create a graceful environment. It’s not just about intimidating problems that we are facing, it’s about a long-term project that we have to really keep an eye on.”

Upcoming events
Mackintosh School of Architecture will be hosting the Deans' Summit II on 21 and 22 April 2022.
The EAAE Deans’ Summit is organised for the second time, and is an annual event of the EAAE, providing an opportunity to meet and discuss issues concerning the current state of architectural education and research, as well as contemporary conditions of the profession.
