Dear Colleagues,

We will be meeting soon at the EAAE’s first Deans Summit hosted by AHO. Not only the global challenges of climate change, of the environmental decline, of equality and diversity, which have more clearly surfaced through the impacts of the pandemic, but also the digital transformation are subject matters, that we will be addressing with the aim to define action plans, which we are committed to pursue as a strong community with robust structures. It is important to act with and stay ahead of these challenges. The established traditions of education, research and governance structures are going through severe times: intensive exchange of experiences but also to embrace the chance to find new opportunities for development is crucial (momentum)!

A further highlight in April regards the EAAE and its network activities around the New European Bauhaus initiative. The first public event of the NEBC (New European Bauhaus Collective) will take place on 29 April 2021. We would like to invite all of you to join this online event.

We are also proud to inform you that EAAE is co-designing together with UIA and VELUX the ‘Daylight Talks’. The next talk is hosted by TU Graz on 29 April 2021 at 16.00-17.15. More information on this will follow very soon.
